| False Color Infrared Imagery for Environmental Studies. |
| False Color Infrared Imagery can be used
to study areas of environmental concern.
The images below show the recycling ponds in relationship to the recycling plant and a conservation area. It can be seen from the images that water flows from the recycling pond through a small creek into a trout pond and lake located in a conservation area. Infrared satellite imagery can used to monitor the runoff and its effect on vegetation surrounding the recycling pond and into the conservation area. Regular imagery collection could could provide a temporal study of environmental changes. |
