Tailings ponds - Caribbean Mine

High resolution imagery can be used in the long term monitoring of tailing and other waste sites. Temporal changes can be documented through the use of regular imagery collections. The use of infrared imagery can show environmental damage before it is visible in colour imagery.

Environmental conditions surrounding operating mines such as the in Northern Mexico can be monitored. False color infrared images highlight chlorophyll content and vegetation health allowing early detection of environmental damage.

Airports cover large areas, with zones of limited or difficult access. Satellite imagery  can be used to monitor environmental conditions of all areas of the airport on a regular basis.
