IKONOS Product Summary
 

The IKONOS satellite has two sensors

1-meter panchromatic sensor.
4-meter, 4 band multispectral sensor. The 4 bands are blue, green, red and near infrared.
 

From these two sensors, three imagery products are produced

1) 1 metre panchromatic.  Delivered either as 256 shade gray scale (8 bit) or 2048 shade gray scale (11 bit).
2) 4 metre, 4 band multispectral.  Products can be delivered as 4 separate bands or combined into true color or false color geo tiffs.
3) 1 metre pan sharpened multispectral. This product is the result of combining the data from 1 meter panchromatic and the 4-meter multispectral sensor.
Delivered as true color or false color geo tiffs.
 

Each of these 3 products can be ordered in 5 levels of horizontal accuracy
