The images on this page explore the limits of 1 meter imagery.

	Traffic on the Brooklyn bridge in New York City. Note ships passing under bridge. The left image at full scale Right image is a section of the image with a 2x zoom. Individual vehicles can be seen and small vehicles can be differentiated from trucks or buses.

	These images of Tiananmen Square in Beijing China shows that small groups of people or individuals can be seen, often enlarged by shadows. The left image is at full scale. The right image is a 2x zoom showing the presence of people, but with no possibility of separating or identifying individuals.

	These images show a new housing survey in Thorton, Colorado. In the image on the left both partially built and completed homes can be seen. The image on the right is 2x zoom of 3 homes showing the detail visible around the homes. The detail is enough for municpal mapping applications, but reveals no personal detail or indviduals.
	This pair of images is of a parking lot in Montreal. The left image is full scale, while the right image is a 2x zoom. In both images it easy to differentate between cars and larger vehicles. Of interest is the ability to see white parking lines.
	This pair of images is of a residential suburb.The left image is full sacle showing the usefulness of IKONOS imagery for municipal applications. The right hand image is 2X zoom, showing pools, fences etc, but again reveals no personal detail or indviduals.
